this hotel was located in a central area short walk to the downtown, sightseeing and shopping, and banská štiavnica. in general the room was a nice size and fantastic with garden view, and i liked it.

Extremely thin walls. Especially during the night we heard the couple from the next room until 03:00. Impossible to sleep well and relax. Very cold in the room.

The wooden structures were very nice. The location of the hotel was great, very close to the center.

Parking was a problem. When we arrived the lot was full and we had to wait for someone to move their car before we could park ours. It was a bit of a hassle, not well organized.

Enchanting place to visit in Banska Stiavnica. The room I stayed in at Penzion Kachelman was absolutely lovely! The solid wooden beds and furniture in historic style made me feel like I had stepped back in time. I especially enjoyed the seating area, where I could relax after a busy day exploring Banska Stiavnica. And having free WiFi was a great bonus too! a very cozy and charming room for a guest like me.

Although I enjoyed my stay, I personally didn't find much joy in the balcony in the double room. But hey, that's just my opinion, others might still love it!

I enjoyed exploring the area's hiking trails, the delicious breakfast buffet, and the cozy fireplace and terrace. All in all, a great choice for a fancy escape.

Who needs reserved parking spaces? Just play parking Tetris and block other cars.

We stayed for one night in a nice and clean hotel located in the old town. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly. The room, although not too big, was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the unique cut of the room with a podium where the bed is placed. The hotel offers safe parking places for motorcycles. The wellness area, although small, had a Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi that we had all to ourselves. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food and the breakfast was also very good. The historic building itself was a great addition to the overall charm of our stay.

I chose this hotel for attending a business mixer and was pleased with the amenities it provided. The meeting room was convenient and well-equipped, allowing for a productive event. The laundry facilities and 24-hour front desk were also helpful during my stay.

The one service that I missed for my work was a reliable and fast internet connection. The WiFi in the room was weak and made it difficult to stay connected and get work done efficiently.
